In February, 2020, Balto String Orchestra Camp, Inc. was formed as a 501 (c) (3) non-profit organization under the regulations of the Internal Revenue Service.  All contributions are tax deductible to the extent provided by law per Internal Revenue Code Section 170.  All contributors will receive an acknowledgement letter for their contribtion.  In addition, contributions are listed in the performance programs for the current and upcoming year.

Donation FAQs

Q: What would my donation be used for?
A:  Contributions are used for scholarships, music rentals or purchases, venue costs, and operational and administrative expenses.  Contributions are not used for coaches' compensation.

Q:  Does giving by credit card have an additional cost.
A:  No.  While there is a fee that credit card processors charge us for accepting credit cards, we do not pass the charge on to you for donations.  You will get credit for the full amount that you donate.
